Default HEAVY brake dust on both front rims

Last few months I've noticed heavy dust on both front rims. What are the chances I have 2 frozen calipers? Or something else? I dont want to put new pads on just yet if they are just going to get eaten. Brakes are also pretty weak recently and 3 amigos.

Cheap pads, you need to get Euro Ceramic Akebono pads to eliminate dust.

x2 for Akebonos.
I got them on my Disco and wife's X5. Great stopping power and extremely low brake dust.
Do a brake fluid flush/system bleed also.

X3!!!! they work great... I learned a long time ago to stay away from the cheap brake pads.

Take the calipers off and clean them really well, lube the guide pins and reassemble. When's the last time you flushed your brake fluid? I had an intermittent three amigos when I bought the truck, the pads were wafer thin. Once I rehabbed the calipers and changed the fluid they went away on their own. You may want to stick a cheapo set of pads on there to see what happens however as pointed out, excessive dust can be a byproduct. Unlikely both calipers are frozen however they could be dragging and may need to be completely disassembled and rebuilt. It's not a hard job.

Akebono’s have way less dust, and they stop the truck beautifully.

I use Power Stop Ceramic pads & there is next to nothing for brake dust (all brake pads have some brake dust).
