Exclamation Help!! 00 d2

They Lock Out for the gearshift is LOCKED OUT, CAN NOT move truck. I looked in the Rav and the Fuse it pointed to is good. How can I disengage this?
Thank You.
PS does this have anything to do with the non working security system?

Carefully pry the bezel up and out of the way and push this pin to the R. If the truck is running, then this has nothing to do with the security system. Could be a bad brake switch.

X2 on brake switch. Happened to me at a gas station one time. No prior indication, just locked up like that. It happens. Def try the brake switch.

Get this one from AutoZone. It's sold as their house brand Duralast and comes in a Duralast box but has the Land Rover logo molded into it. It's an upgrade from the original design and is priced right at $11.95.
