HELP!!!!!!!!! 03 landrover discovery? 1? 2? 3? 4? new to landrovers
just purchased an 2003 landrover discovery at an auction, needed a passenger power mirror, replaced today, 20 bucks, also needed a drivers side front power window motor, also fixed today 15 bucks.has smoked headlights, taillights, dark tinted windows, black wheels, i am very mechanically inclined, and do most my own work, valve covers are leaking, also when you press the accelerator pedal fast and release it sounds like a loud exhaust leak almost like a squeal, but cant pinpoint it, also has 15 codes, the battery was bad, i replaced the battery and erased the codes, only for them to return. they are all po: 0155,0135,0154,0134,1319,0300,1300,0340,0102,0448, 0445,1482,0414,1451,1884, can all these codes point to one thing setting off another? thanks for any advice or help.

I hope you got it real cheap!
I would reset the codes if you can drive it if you can and see what pops back up.
Some of those codes could be old.

I have read slot of threads on here and seems people change plugs,wires,o2 sensors and still have all these codes, I'm gonna pull the plugs do a compression check, Ect. It seems to run good, but can't stand codes. I don't wanna waste my time replacing parts that aren't faulty.
go look at this Major Service on the main page. I would at the least do the plugs and wires. as well as the 02 sensors. then you need to go for a drive. Certain codes need to be reset and this requires it being driven. Last time I did my 02 sensors I needed to do a 20 minute at 50 MPH non stop drive tonsure the ECU unit was reading the correctly after the reset.
good luck keep us posted.

With all those codes it might be a good idea to get a Good! mechanic to look at it and tell you what needs to be replaced. Then do the repairs yourself instead of replacing parts trying to find the problems.
