HELP! 2003 DISCOVERY QUESTION! HELP !

HI, this is my first post! and I have a question, I just bought a 2003 Discovery S today, I didnt get the owners manual with it, and was curious what the little green digital "S" means? it is lit up and I don't know what it means!

please help!

The Green "S" stands for the "sport" mode. To change it, the "mode" button is right under the gear shift.
