Default Help with brake bleed (3 step process)

My front driver side wheel was smoking the other day with apparent burning rubber smell. Im thinking the caliper is sticking from time to time. I replaced all 4 calipers, BMC and booster on my old D2 couple years ago and Id like to swap it all over and do a proper brake bleed (3 step process). Curious what my options are for affordable diagnostic tools capable of utilizing the abs module for the power bleed? I was checking out Atlantic British Iland Diagnostic tool but dam that thing is $400!

Just want a proper brake bleed without spending a fortune on ****. All local shops get confused when I explain about the abs power bleed procedure (they only understand the manual method).

I currently own a Icarsoft Diagnostic tool but as far as I know it does not perform brake bleeding.

That's a great price for that. Update us and let us know how it goes with the device set up, if any, and brake bleed.

Can't fault you for getting the scan tool, it's needed for several things. Someday I'll need one too, but I bled my brakes by jumping out the abs relay with two wires, long enough to reach the furthest wheel, and a push button to activate the pump, while I opened the bleeders one by one. Easy-peasy.

So my Foxwell NT520 arrived today. Good shipping times. Unfortunately Im not seeing anything Im looking for. Looks like only basic functions are present on this scanner; functions that I can easily perform with my Icarsoft. No options or menus for abs, drivetrain, transmission, security, ecu etc. Ive been through all the menus and cant find what Im looking for. Included insteuctions dont even seem to apply to this unit as there was never a initial setup when I first turned this device on in my truck. No option to input my VIN # or anything. Half the trouble codes I was getting show up with a description that simply reads: "please refer to manual".

The primary reason for buying this tool is to perform abs power bleeding of the brake system. I wanna be able to do a complete and proper 3 step brake bleed. The little information I found online via blogs and forums all claimed that this device can be used to power bleed the abs as well as read and clear abs codes. Only thing I can think of is that the device needs to be updated. I will give that a try tonight.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
