HELP! Buying a non-starting 96 Disco
Hi Guys, I am guying a Disco with a non-starting motor. I am yet to see the car, but owner states that battery, wires, and plugs are new. So I am thinking it is either the starter, the spider immobiliser unit, or the fusible link.
I am going to try to diagnose the problem tomorrow. But I have no clue where to find the starter or the fusible link wire in a 96 disco. Anyone has pictures that might help me?
Also, anything else I should be looking for to diagnose the issue?

The starter is right side under the exhaust manifold.
To take it off you have to go from the front with long extension .
I'm not sure about any fusible links.
Before you take it off try tapping on the starter.
Sometimes the starter will stick and needs a good whack to free it up, this will work
if it is going out and not out already.
