Default Help with codes / advice

Hi all.

last few weeks I noticed at red lights, truck would run rough and feel like it will stall.

yesterday after getting gas and a nice 1.5 hour trip on the turnpike, my engine light came on solid on return trip. Then while idling the rough became a little more.

car doesn’t overheat and it accelerates fine.just idling that stall feeling and vibration.

went to autozone and codes are:

p0171
p1590
p0130

Ive researched these all and best bet is to replace all 4 oxygen sensors?

any other advice?

thnx

Start wtih looking up the codes and posting them here, we don't memorize the number meanings.

Okay, you have two choices:
  1. Waste time and money by throwing Parts at it and hope for the best.
  2. Diagnose it thoroughly until you have validated exactly what the issue is.
It likely is a bad oxygen sensor on one side, but the only way to know for sure is to swap the two sensors left to right. If the problem follows the sensor, then you you have a bad sensor. If it stays on bank one then you either have a wiring issue or bank one really is lean. A lean bank of cylinders can be caused by a malfunctioning injector(s).

P1590 Has nothing to do with how well your truck is running. It's related to what we affectionately call the Three Amigos.

Are the ABS, traction control, and hill descent lights also always on in your truck? Those are the Three Amigos. But if I were you, I wouldn't worry about that right now. Not until you get the engine running smoothly again.

I'm surprised you don't have any P03XX codes. Those are the codes for misfires, which are most often associated with. The engine running rough.

Do all the lights come one when you turn the key to position 2 without starting the engine? This is the bulb test position...
