Default Help, installing oem style brush guard on my 04

Picked up a original brush guard to install on my 04dII. Do I need to cut the bumper or anything to install it? I have not really looked at it yet.

Yes you'll need to cut two square holes, 1 on each side of the black mesh grill of the plastic bumper. You'll also need the brackets for the brush guard if yours didn't come with them. Miami Rovers on ebay usually sells a pair.

Like so

You are the man! Thanks a lot, I believe the brackets came with it along with some hard ware. Is there something that mounts to the head light mount or something?

Hmm I don't have those on my mine but if I had to guess it looks like mounts to put lights on the brush guard. That curved surface looks like it would fit over the bottom bar of the brush guard.
