Default Help name this fitting

doing my coils and while disconnecting stuff broke a plastic fitting that connects to Just behind the flap on the throttle body a rubber hose connects to it
anyone know the name of this fitting

I believe you are talking about the fuel purge line, for emissions

Yes I think it's the purge valve plastic fitting that connects to the intake
I think I will just use a hose and connect straight to the metal fitting there

thanks folks.


I also also noticed my intake manifold and intake on engine is coated in oil

what can I do about this
I already cleaned my oil separator
anything else I can do

Anyone know where this hose for the purge goes ?
I see it go behind engine forwards the coil pack. I'm just trying to trace down a possible vacuum leak

The rubber hose goes to the top of the bell housing, (next to the main fuel line that connects to the fuel rail).
The rubber hose is crimped on to a hard plastic line around the top center of the bell housing.
The hard line makes a 90 degree turn on the top passenger side of the transmission, and goes toward the rear of the truck.
I am unsure of how accessable/what's in the way of reaching the line after it leaves the engine compartment, I'll have to look later.
