Default help p1230!!

Got in my trunk to more it amd it started and died.... now it giving me p1230 code? i tried to jump the relay to the fuel pump and it tried to start and died.where do i go now?

any help

What did you swap from, probably wasn't a fuel pump relay replacement.
As for the 1668, you now have a engine anti-theft circuit high signal.

That code can come from the battery being unhooked. If everything works ok, you can clear it and not worry about it. If you have weird issues with the thing starting and then immediately dying, then worry about it. (but in this case you've got something weird going on with the P1230).

See this link for the Land Rover / Bosch ECU manuals that Savannah Buzz found for us. In part 3, on page 90 it describes the P1230 fault you are getting.

It's my fuel pump I got power at the pump just not working

How did you test it and what voltages did you get? I would still rather see you go get a fuel pump relay, cause there are no other relays in the engine compartment that you can switch out with and have the pump work.

That makes sense... the manual shows that code meaning "open circuit" which if the pump is burned up or something would show up that way.

I tested it with a test light. Should I use my voltmeter or go get a relay. Am I wrong to say it's the fuel pump since I had power there
