Help Please
Motorad 439-180, sold and shipped by Amazon. GReeves (forum user I think) posted in the comments (
). I assumed it would be the correct tstat. Probably defective I'm thinking.
Dude a thermostat won't make your vehicle warm up faster! A BAD one will make it warm up slower! I'm thinking your old one was partially stuck open. Also 200* is no where near the omg my truck is screwed shut it down shut it soen
Who was that directed at? You got to quote it so folks know who your speaking to lol
I am thinking something is wrong with those stats because my temps were running 194 on highway then i flushed coolant out replaced stat with the motorad 439-180 and now i am running at 197.6 on highway. Yes i bled the system correctly this would not be my first coolant flush so something has to be wrong with the stat right?
I know i am not at crazy temps or anything just not where it should be with a true 180° stat

Could have been your OLD spring being old was weaker than this new one. Also that's a very tiny tiny difference
And if 180* termostat meant your vehicle never went over 180*..
I don't know what to say, your radiator isn't 100% effecient.

Yeah i don't know man my truck has been serviced exactly to the T how land rover says they need to be maintained. So i am thinking its the thermostat because i was not running hot by any means just wanted to try the ""180""
