Motorad 439-180, sold and shipped by Amazon. GReeves (forum user I think) posted in the comments (
Amazon.com: Motorad 439-180 Thermostat: Automotive Amazon.com: Motorad 439-180 Thermostat: Automotive
). I assumed it would be the correct tstat. Probably defective I'm thinking.

Dude a thermostat won't make your vehicle warm up faster! A BAD one will make it warm up slower! I'm thinking your old one was partially stuck open. Also 200* is no where near the omg my truck is screwed shut it down shut it soen

I am thinking something is wrong with those stats because my temps were running 194 on highway then i flushed coolant out replaced stat with the motorad 439-180 and now i am running at 197.6 on highway. Yes i bled the system correctly this would not be my first coolant flush so something has to be wrong with the stat right?

I know i am not at crazy temps or anything just not where it should be with a true 180° stat

Could have been your OLD spring being old was weaker than this new one. Also that's a very tiny tiny difference

And if 180* termostat meant your vehicle never went over 180*..

I don't know what to say, your radiator isn't 100% effecient.

I ordered that same Tstat from the parts monster and installed it and my temps came down 10-15 degrees. I have heard people getting bad tstats from them though so..
