Hello all,

Posting a "missed connections" of sorts. Sold my 1999 Discovery II in 2016. It was sold to a reseller in LA, and I can't find any record of it past 2017. It was in the launch color Kinversand, with the Saudi grille. I miss this car dearly, and hope to find it or at least another one in the same color. I know it's a tall order given the rarity of Kinversand, but I figured I'd give it a shot posting about it here.

Buyer's remorse is a thing, but how about seller's remorse?

There was one of those colored D2’s at an LKQ near me several months ago. It was pretty well stripped. I certainly hope it wasn’t your D2!! There was also a super clean one for sale a while back on CL, but it sold pretty fast.

There was a guy selling one out of Chicago a few months back, frame rusted all to **** but the body looked good.

 

There was a red one for sale in PA. I could look to see if it's still for sale.

 

Be patient and you’ll find one. And search eBay, CL, autotrader etc everyday. Set up alerts. It will be frustrating but it can happen. Good luck.
