Help. Shifting out of park

I replaced the ignition switch and now she won't shift out of park. I can push the pin and get it but I need to know if an electrical fault is causing a problem

Was it working fine before you changed the ignition? Check the brake switch. Do the brake lights come on when you press the pedal?

Yes they do. All was fine before

Screw it. I just yanked the solenoid
