Default Help with some codes.

Hey guys after some good months of no trouble I got some codes yesterday. I suppose I was over due for some.

I got the following:

P1884
P0441
P0445

The two last ones are O2 codes right? If it helps I did replace the valve cover gaskets a few weeks ago, but I went on a long trip to the mountains right after that with no trouble.

The OBD II scanner at autozone says P1884 is an engine coolant lamp circuit short to ground. Any usual suspects?

Thanks as always

see attached - I would dispute their generic version of P1884, RAVE says transmission. Note my file for P0441 is really for P0445.

Got to quit guessing on these codes, that is why so many buy parts they don't need.
Both those codes are for the evap system and purge valve, not the 02's. If you are lucky, the 1884 will go away when you deal with the other 2 codes.
Start reading in the Rave manual on evap repairs.

Any help locating the cvs unit? I found the purge valve pretty easily buts the cvs is hiding somewhere.

Have you replaced the purge valve yet?

No I haven't replaced the purge valve yet, but a new one is on the way. I wanted to try and track down the canister vent solenoid first but I can't find the damn thing.

Ok well I replaced the purge valve and the codes have come back this time I got the following:

P1668
P0441

I need to track down this canister vent selenoid, someone on this forum has to have done this job before.

And I guess I'm getting alternator issues now?
