help truck wants to die at idle
Are you in the upstate NY area? I have a gauge you could use.
Single bank misfires can be a little hard to troubleshoot. Could be lower intake gasket, injector o-rings, o2 sensors, even a bad catalytic converter on one side.
Also I've seen a low idle cause random misfires.
I'd check that the IACV is clean. Also, with ultragauge, what does it show for MPH at idle? I had an idle problem because the ECM thought I was driving down the road at 88mph, while the SLABS (that actually measures the roadspeed and sends it to the other computer and gauge cluster) was showing correct speed.

Don't know what the IACV is? I haven't looked at the mph on it while it idles crazy I would assume 0. I don't have either cat, so thinking majority of my problems stem from that. I plan on ordering a new y pipe to be done with that part of the restoration.
