Vacationing In Manchester, VT and looks like I need an alternator for my 2004 Disco.. AB is closed, anyone nearby have a spare they can part with?

not familiar with the area, but are there any local autoparts stores that might have a remanufactured just to get you on your way?

any year Rang Rover P38 alternator will work as will any year between 1999.5-2004 Discovery alternator.

That's really great to hear. I try to give AB as much business as I can. Eric Riston is always very helpful.

AB is great and the website and parts are 2nd to none but the shipping to Canada and always some kind of import fees are absolutely out to lunch ridiculous

UPDATE: I was in need of an alternator for my 2004 D2 while vacationing this weekend up here in Manchester, VT with my wife.
long story short.... I was able to get in touch with Eric Riston salesman at nearby Atlantic British. Despite them being closed today and he being out of town, he put out some feelers and eventually found that Tom O’Keefe from Rescued Rovers in New Windsor, NY had the part I needed on the shelf.
There really is something to this LR Brotherhood we all enjoy, as Tom drove the 3 hours up to me to deliver the alternator so I could get back on the road and salvage my weekend vacation.
Incredible! This is a great community.

wow drove 3 hours ? One way ? Are you guys best friends? That’s unheard of customer service actually that’s not even customer service that’s something else
