I would so add the antennas just for look. I love them.

I've a nice write-up for installing a CB antenna and mounting to the back of the Disco. I did it to mine about 2 months ago. I'm running the Uniden Pro 510xl unit, a Wilson Flex4 antenna and a Firestik mount. I bought the antenna, cable, and mount from Pepper Electronics at a great price. The actual CB radio itself I bought on eBay, new in the box, for $30 or so.

The install is really rather simple, the only really tedious/difficult part is running the wire through the door and fishing it through the concertina boot and under the carpet up to the front of the truck. Mounting locations for a CB are limited in a D2 (if you're concerned with aesthetics), but the Uniden I bought is so compact I was able to mount it under the dash just right of center from the steering wheel. I haven't taken pics of the mount inside, but if anyone would like to see let me know and I'll post a few up.

Here are some pics of my truck with the CB antenna in prominent view:

If you want the write-up for the install or the website & parts list for what I used, just PM me and I'll email it to you. I have it in PDF format.

So all you did was replace the bulbs? No HID Kit? I've been waiting to see pictures of the headlights with 6000k but 5900k is close enough. Disco looks really good with it. I want to do just the low beams and fogs, which should put out considerable amount of light.

bangkuaidiscovery, correct, just take off some screws and replaced it with the new halogen bulbs.

The bulbs are even brighter at night, especially the fog light. I have the 3000k on the fog light and the whole street is yellow. I can imagine the street would be super blue white with 5900k on the fog light.

If you do install them, remember to upload pictures for us to view.

Cheers.

Again, were the holes in your bumper from the factory?

Has anyone cut holes aftermarket? (my S doesn't have em)

I guess a different mount position would be simpler ..

Yes, the fog lights are standard on any trim level above the S. The S model does not have factory fog lights.

Torancis that is one sweet looking set of lights. 5900K for the hi/lo beams? I'm not sure how the kelvin scale works... I know it's about the color temperature. But from what I've seen on different websites and for different products, which color = what K rating differs.

Are your lights pure white or kind of blueish (looks really white and awesome on the photos!)
