Then how are all of these people I see driving these non US cars importing them?
The cute little RHD Mitsubishi compact van that I see driving around during the summer with its 13" tires and is obviously new(er).
Or the guy with the RHD Skyline GT?
My oldest son and his wife bought a '09 Cobalt, it is from Canada, granted Canadian cars are the closest ones to US reg's, but are they the same as the US?
I dont know, so I am asking.

I don't know, I don't know how they were brought in. I do know it's not at all unusual for customs to seize Land Rovers US citizens try to import.
