Having it done at a run of the mill national chain brake/muffler/suspension shop with their lifetime warranty pads, I'd say $4-500 per axle.
Which is a HUGE rip off, you can do the job yourself for $200 and a hours work with basic hand tools.
I paid 317.00.. 140 for pads installed and 152 for rotors installed.. 1yr or 12k warranty ..he told me he flushed the system.. I gotta find out the the make of these parts..
If it was a brake shop you will never find out what brand of parts they used, they will tell you NAPA or "our brand".
$317 isn't bad, but you could have done it yourself and gotten a lifetime warranty on the brake pads for less.
Thanks a lot Spike and Disco Mike.. im new to the hands on stuff and was a little apprehensive about messing with the "stopping power" on a car my family uses sometimes.. LOL thanks again sPIKE.. you guys are the best.. my ahole doesnt feel so bad anymore
Next time let us walk you thru doing this sort of work. If you had done this, you could have installed Akebona Ceramic pads and an average set of rotors along with brake fluid, which it sound like they didn't do, for $150.
