HF Winch Install and battery terminal upgrade
ill post more pictures when I get a chance. Family dinner time now.
Hardest part was trimming the grill. Coming from a woodworking background, I used the miter corner method of cut a little at a time until it fits.
My goal was to cut the grill without huge open gaps around the winch. I definitely achieved that.
Everything is installed and working. Broke one headlight clip but I need to order new ones anyway. I’ll do that with the shackles.
Bumper is a britpart
More pics to come.

Looking good! Once operational, don't forget to pay out all of the winch line (except maybe four twist around drum) and redress your line. You want to pull the rover, by attaching winch line to a tree or something stout and pull the rover with parking brake lightly applied, making sure the cable spools onto the drum neatly. This pre-stretchs the cable and helps ensure decent cable life. Should be a section in the owners manual explaining the procedure and reasoning.

Actually did that today with my 4 year old daughter. A good teaching moment

Fit it perfectly on the bumper. All the holes lined up and it looks pretty good.
