Winches
So guys I bought a winch while waiting on my tactical rover bumper to come in. I searched on here and didn't see anyone while in my readings talk about the tuff stuff brand winch? I haven't even seen discussion on it. Jeep and bronco and other owners but no rover.
Has anyone used a tuff stuff winch? I got the 12500lb extreme which is the waterproof version. I know it's a Chinese made winch but it has received good reviews from owners with equally heavy or heavier vehicles.
As soon as I figure how to post pics I will but it came with- winch, 88' 3/8 cable, Clevis hook, rubber bump stop, wired remote and wireless remote, and with a 10' tree saver for 400$ shipped.
If no one has tried it ill do my bumper/winch as an install write up, and a performance review on the winch. I plan to get the rover stuck pretty quick after hitting the bottoms with new tires, bumper and winch.
FYI warn guys don't flame- poor mans winch if it pulls me out twice it's paid for itself hell even once.

Trying to get home from working on yet another one of my buddy's fords. I told him to give them up and get a disco already, at least it's not plastic and can diagnosed and repaired quite easily.

Antichrist-I'm no electrician by any means. but that's less then 3-5% drop and the amperage increase I don't know how to calculate. So what your getting at is these wires at 6' still have a good chance of failure? What would you recommend? If I'm going to wire it in I'd like to do it right the first time. considered doing parallel batteries as well maybe yes /no?
