HID Lights - again
Just wondering if anyone has tried the HID kit from this HIDExtra.com that pops up at the top of the forum. I was just looking at the site and they seem to have really good prices. Just wondering about the quality. I am thinking in the future I am going to try the HID low/halogen high beam set up just to compare it to my current HID headlights.
I went on their site last week, and yes, the prices are right and the parts, ballast, wire ignitors and lights look just like the ones I have.
I may be tempted to also go to the hi/lo since I am now running just the single 6000k and a 35 watt bulb.
Let me know what you guys do.

Tell you what AK, you buy them and have them shipped to me, and if they are any good I will let you know. LOL
I am hinting to my wife about these for Christmas, so we will just have to wait and see.
My birthday is next month but she has already bought my gift.

I don't think that will work so well. I'm kind of greedy and if I'm going to buy them they'll go in my truck. Maybe I'll just order a set of the hi/lo bulbs and use my existing ballast. That should make for a pretty good comparison since the only difference will be the bulb. I can get a set of H4 hi/lo bulbs and the 3000k bulbs I want for my Dodge fog lights for the price of a full kit.
Spike - if/when you do upgrade to HID lights, make sure you get the relay harness with them. My dual beam setup came with the harness but some may not. It will save a lot of wear on your headlight switch since the main power comes direct from the battery rather than through the headlight switch. As expensive as our headlight switches are anything that could extend the life is worth it.

Either one works well. The 6000k will be slightly more blue but unless you're next to someone with a 4300k or 5000k you won't really notice. 5000k gives the whitest light so that would be my choice.
