Default Hit a bump-3 amigos

2000 Discovery II, 257K, fixed the 3 Amigos a while back with the forum sticky post about the wire around and has worked great for a number of years.
Now if I hit a fairly good sized bump or pot hole, 3 Amigos come on and only disappear if I shut off the truck and restart. Another bump and the same thing.

where to look. ABS sensor, broken wire, ?

Any thoughts as to where to start?

As always thanks in advance to all the folks on the forum for any assistance.

I would start by checking for loose speed sensors, and clean out old break dust.

If you have the older style, check the connectors they are in each wheel well - one could be loose

Yep as old as these trucks are getting the OEM style sensors with connections at each sensor are starting to just crumble with age. I use 2 wire trailer connectors in place of the OEM setup.

Also, check the “option B” ground connection. Most use the screw for the AC bracket and it can corrode over time.

OK, additional info.
Went off again last night, did the key off/key on routine, and the 3 amigos would not clear. I own the "ABS Amigo" from RSW Solutions, and used it. It cleared for but a moment, the chime went off, and the 3 lights appeared again. I plan to clean all the connectors, and check the ground on the "option B" connection.

As well as all the cleaning sensor suggestions.

I'll let you know what I find. Thanks to all!!

Did the amigo give you a fault code? It sounds like either a shuttle valve switch, bad ground, or a bad sensor connection.
