I didn't see any information about it, but it makes me wonder if it is possible every time I turn the truck on. It shows the capability to show temp, so is there a way? I would much rather show the temperature that the compass which will never be used!

There was a thread about this a month or so ago. The conclusion then was "no", I believe. The mirror module is a common part used in other vehicles. LR did not design the use of that particular feature.....that was my recollection.

You need to contact www.gentex.com and buy a temp probe.

Thanks, but heck with that! Figured if I could program it that would be great, otherwise no biggie! I could reach over and press the button to see when needed. Need to dig in the RAVE and figure out how to change it to Fahrenheit now though!

The mirror needs a temp probe to read the temp, no probe no temp.
the compass is built into the mirror.

if you are looking at changing the display from c to f (or visa versa) hold the recirculate button, then the power button at the same time. about 6-8 seconds, and it will change for you.

yeah, but when he said he would just push the button to see the exterior temp, and needed to figure out how to change it to F, that would be the AC. at least thats what i got from his last post.

Been meaning to change that too as I don't carry a calculator around to convert, so thanks!
