While doing more research, I came across these BMW wheels (sold as a set). They have a slightly larger center bore then the Honda wheels and all of the other dimensions seem to line up. Not sure on the lug stud size though. But, these might a great alternative with some centering rings: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...36111095013kt/

Yes, not sure how the lug size plays out. ET47 vs ET57 vs ET 50 for the Rover. So good that its outboard but not sure how far you can go before it drives funny. Another thing is the GVWR rating. The Odyssey and Rover are nearly identical. For steel wheels it might not matter. For me it was good to know it matched up on weight rating.

Check this sight out and go crazy looking for matches. There are several, some VW Toureg I think, maybe others. Then it's hard to source the wheel once matched. https://www.wheel-size.com/

Yeah, I called on the weight rating, but they had no idea. I'll check out that link. Thanks.

Turns out the BMW wheels won't work. I found a forum thread where a guy tried them and he said they "tacoed". Not good.

I might just try to find a set of Odyssey wheels in a junk yard and have them machined like you did.

Currently, I have 285/75 r16's so this tire size will actually save me some serious MPG's and power. Thanks for posting your experience. It really helps.

I still find it odd that a steel wheel would "taco" under normal use. Maybe if they were aggressively off-roaded. Could be the BMW wheel is designed for a lighter spec to have lower unsprung weight which is desirable for performance car handling. I am pretty confident for me to taco a wheel the incident needed would either flip the truck on its roof first or involve a hard stationary object hit at speed. In either case I would have bigger problems.

I'm about ready to just order 1 wheel (from
Amazon Amazon
) and see if my local machinist can bore the center. I was hoping you wouldn't mind shooting a close up photo of a wheel (on the vehicle of course) so I can see what the center should look like. I know, it's a big ask, but the photos in this thread are really small and I can't quite see that bore opening and the lug nuts. If not, no problem.

Looks super sharp. I love that color disco, and the grey steelies really set it off.

The spare is machined to 70.1 the other two 73.1. If I had the chance to start over I would have done all at 70.1.

Thanks. The wheels are painted a plasti-dip color called Brass Monkey. I wanted to something other than straight black.
