Default To hook up the heater or not to hook up the heater..

So when i bought BB the heater was bypassed and i have not touched it since.

I have heated seats but that will only do so much, should i try to plumb the heater core back in or should i buy a car heater for the winter times.

Fix the heat, as a man who drove a 110 through the polar vortex last winter. The biggest deception the British ever pulled off was disguising a walk in freezer as a Land Rover. I can attest to the heater being a wonderful thing.

The best advice I can give is fix the heater.

Do the manly thing.
Get a heater core.
Put it on the passenger's seat.
Run lines thru the firewall if you can find some rubber plugs to pull out.
Put an old bus fan on the side of that core and let it blow out heat.

IF it gets too hot open the window.

Or put in Barr's leaks and see if your current heater core will work.

or maybe use an old bus electric heater.

Or put this in the back and run coolant lines to it.

Default Avoid putting bars leak

Avoid putting bars leak and other stop leak products through your cooling system. I had a bad heater core on my D2 and didn't want to pull dash apart to replace. I bypassed it and then put some stop leak stuff in the heater core. I looped a pierce of heater hose to keep it from just coming out and let it sit for a day. I reconnected the heater cor and have been god for 2 years now.
