Default Hot Liquid on passangers side

Driving back from pulaski polka Days (yes im serious) with my mom, some very hot water came out of the lower center counsel on the passangers side, also when i turned off the climate control, steam came out of one of the vents for a few seconds. I had the AC on, and ofcourse the warranty just expired 100 miles ago.

So have you cleaned out those AC vents? If not do that in the morning and then let us know if they were clogged. You ever see chimps on the discovery channel poking a stick in a termite mound? It's that easy just crawl under, find them and poke them until they are clear.

Yeah it could be that, but I figure he should check the drains before he goes ripping into the dash.

He said water over in another forum that is why I was not thinking a leaking heater core. He also mentioned that his passenger side AC drain was barey dripping while drivers side was draining fine.

Snowdude watch out when you clear that drain, Discos like to give a good money shot now and again.

Then do a search for clearing your a/c drain tubes and fix it real quick.

ac drains. you say HOT liquid and 9 times out of 10 people are thinking coolant.

water is just water and not as scary to deal with

The condensed water is hot from the AC compressor. If you feel the water dripping from your AC drains it will be hot as it should be, the heat removed from the freon has to go somewhere. Those 2 semesters of thermodynamics in engineering school finally has come in handy.
