Default How to clean O2 sensors

After celaning my throttle body, I immediately popped codes for several 02s.

I cleared the codes with my OBDIII and the codes quickly returned. I'm assuming the O2s have become fowled with crud since they're less than 6 months old. I drove the truck for several hundred miles hoping the crud would blow off, but it didn't.

Can the O2s be cleaned and if so what would the procedure be?

Thanks,
Michael Wm Gould

Michael,
Long time no hear.
You can't really clean 02 sensors, and yes as old as your 02's are they probably got fouled.
What are the exact fault code numbers you keep getting?

About all that you can do is pull them out and blow them with shop air to remove any crud.

Hi Mike and all,

I'm receiving OBDII code P0130. I had codes for one other O2 but it quickly cleared itself.

I'll pull the O2 and see what it looks like. Is blowing them off the only choice? Any solvent type cleaners.

That is not even a choice, if you think about the volumn of exhaust that blows by them while they are working, you can beat it.
By the way, your 130 is a circuit malfunction not a bad 02.

Thank you for the correction-

Just found a LR code definition site.
http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/landrover/

Any advise on where to start?
