How do change out brake pads?
I recently purchased some EBC green pads and am going to try and put them on myself. I have a buddy who changes his out on his 4-runner but as he sometimes "wings" it, I thought I would get some help here first. Nothing came up on the searches other than a C-clamp for the pistons and anti-squeal spray on the back of the pads. My main question is about the brake fluid after I push the pistons back. Is there a plug or release so I don't squeeze all that dirty brake fluid back up into the system and what should I watch out for? I don't want to have to bleed the system or anything like that yet. Please help and Thanks in advance.

Nothing you can do to keep from pushing that brake fluid back.
Just flush the brake fluid with new brake fluid after you are done.
LR recommends flushing the brake fluid every 24 months anyway.
This would be the perfect time to do it.

if i were you i would buy a mity vac from your local auto parts shop. for $45 you can suck out the old fluid and while adding new fluid to the brake master cylinder and filling.
easy peesy,,,
also the pads are so easy to change its really not even funny.
