I had disconnected my battery, and then needed to get the code for the Harmon Kardon factory head unit for the stereo in my '03 Disco SE. I now have the four-digit code, but I want to do this right. Is there a sequence to the buttons I have to hit? There is no "enter" button on the unit either. I've also heard that it will shut down after two or three failed attempts. The dealer is a jerk about it since i did not bring it in for a service call, and getting info from them is like having to do it at gunpoint. So i don't want to screw this up. I tried doing it once a few minutes ago, and it only took one number.
Anyone else ever have to do this?
