I'm in the middle of replacing the HGs on my D2 and I hung up on how to replace the coil pack at the back of the engine. I can't get the IM off because it seems that the same bolts that attach the coil to the engine also secure the IM as well. I assume that's why the rave manual says to remove the coil pack before removing the IM. I have no idea how to get any tool let alone my hands down there to do so. I NEED HELP!!thanks!

 

You can get to them. If you are doing your HG's remove your hood. With your hood off and the wire harness out of the way you can reach them with a swivel socket.

The intake is not held in place by these bolts, they only hold the coil pack and the SAI to the manifold.
