It is a direct swap, and I believe Justin at Lucky8 has them and perhaps some others. In the winter up on the Blue Ridge Parkway you might not be as warm as you could be, but then again many times it is closed off for ice anyway in places.

To close out this thread. I ended up replacing the radiator and it only slightly helped running hot, still was seeing 217deg in idling, though an improvement from 224deg it was not good enough. I took the old radiator apart to see if it was full of dex-cool sludge and it had some scale deposits but, 117k miles of dex-cool has not sludged up the radiator in the least. I did fix the running hot and it was my electric fan, I had previously replaced it with an aftermarket unit and it did not move enough air so, I followed a thread on here about replacing just the motor with a equal to factory size and reusing the factory blades. Yesterday in stop and go traffic and idling at a drive-thru with it 101 deg out the ultra-guage only got up to 197deg. Good enough for me.

Good deal. What was the particular aftermarket model fan and size that did not work for you? - so others can skip that option....

What kind of temps do you see at highway speed?

Highway and rural road driving runs from 186-194deg. This is the aftermarket fan I used and the associated write-up I did https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...lacment-48525/
