Are you sure you had to pull the airbag?

Mine popped right out w/ a small flat screwdriver.

To get the black cover off of the stealing wheel, do you need to take out the bolts or does it just pry off? It feels like the cover should just be pulled off but I am too chicken to just start pulling.

please note step 1 is very important. an airbag is an explosive device.

also you cannot just stick a button back on. if one of your buttons is broken you will need the entire assembly/harness with both buttons to fix it properly.

Thanks all! I am glad I didn't start just pulling away.

I'm going to replace my horn switches. Same thing happened with my right horn button. I rarely touch the horn, so I had to just test it to see if it worked, and it didn't. Previous owner cut the wire, shoved some tissue in and snapped the horn button back in place so it would look like the button was fine. Maybe I'll do a video when I change mine out.
