How Many miles on your DII
I have about 219,000 On my disco II I was wondering how many DII are out there with over 200,000 miles.
I have done the hi mileage service and head gaskets are good, There is a small xfer case leak and a coolant leak up front ( maybe a hose?)
She needs tires shocks springs ss brake lines . going to seal up the sunroofs tried a couple of times to stop leaking.
Aside from all that is there anything else that must be done? I have done the front propshaft.
I have read about the engine probably needs major work but its running good not making any ticks or knocks. ( ticks a bit when first started cold.) Probably won't do that yet.
I would like to hear from some of you how many miles etc. I am try to decide whether to keep her or let her go.

Once a vehicle reaches it's end of life - I don't really worry about what's going to keep it alive, but more, what can I do to make its end of life easier...
Listen to squeeks and clunks and watch for any of them that aren't the norm. humm of wheel bearings, etc... never know what it'll need. I'm actually surprised just how long some cars could keep on trucking simply doing that style of maintenance.
My rover is still under 170k, so I can't comment, but I assure you - if I get 30k out of it, I'll be excited! Since mine is fairly new to me - I'm still just replacing anything I can find as preventative.
