it might be leaking from your front main crank seal. I would get a bottle of simple green, climb under the truck, spray, wipe, spray some more and then hose it off with a garden hose. That will clean things up and then you can better tell where the leak is originating. Good luck. Phil

Ok, two things, if its my valve cover leaking, where is the valve cover and how do I get to the bolts to tighten them? Is it easy? @, if its the main crank seal leaking, what kind of work does that entail? $$$? Time? Thanks again peeps.

Take a look at the rave manual and see if you can find the valve cover gaskets. You should be able to find a diagram. You can probably only get to 4 of the 8 bolts. You will need a 12 point 8 mm 1/4 inch drive socket. You can't just find them anywhere. Check around. You might find one at Sears, ours didn't have them. A Snapon or Matco tool truck will have them. Ebay is also a good source. The front main seal should run about $100 parts and labor. Check this site for writeups, you will find many, look for photos. The crank comes out of the front of the block. There is a large pulley mounted on it. The pulley is about 6 inches in diameter and the serpentine belt runs around it. If you climb under the front of the truck, you will see the oil filter on the front, bottom, passenger side. Just to the drivers side you will see the bottom of the pulley. Look for oil in that area. The pulley and wind from driving can throw oil all over that area and then back along the engine, bell housing, tranny, and transfer case. A friend just brought his truck over this week after it had been in Utah for two years. The bottom of the engine was caked with gunk. They went through two quarts of oil in 1,000 miles. After an hour with simple green and a garden hose, it almost looks like new. Found his leak, front main seal. Got it fixed and now his is good to go. good luck. Phil
