We have a 2mos old and we have are rear facing car seat in the middle position, that is the only position it will fit. It is difficult to get him in and out of the truck, but the car seat does not take up space on either the left and right position. With the rear seats folded in, there is plenty of space for the stroller and groceries. More room in the 2nd row would make life easier, but the wife and I love the truck, we can deal with the climbing in and out.
