How much should I expect to pay for a Crank sensor for a 2000 Disco II, parts and/or labor?

 

got my new crank sensor from autozone (they had to order it btw- took a day) for $135.

took about 20-30 min to r/r

 

If we're talking about the same part I just got mine locally for under $60 - crankcase position sensor, right?

 

The price range from $70 to $82 and the labor, once you find it is quick.
Why not do it your self?

 

yeah british atlantic had it for $78 but i needed it quicker than they could ship it so i paid the extra money.
the remove and replace is actually pretty easy. just need a 6mm and an 8mm socket and your set. if you play in the water much you may want some dielectric grease for the connection btw.

if i can do it then i know you can - i can barely change my own oil.

ok, i checked and it was more like $59 than $135. wrong part. oops.
