I’ve been looking for a 99-04 Disco and would be interested in yours but unfortunately I live in Arizona. They aren’t very common here so I’ve been having trouble finding good ones. Anyone know of a good source for one around here? Thank you

Here is a good example here in Canada British Columbia disco with 59000 miles Looks clean now it’s in Toronto He wants 17 k Canadian but probably won’t sell here in Canada The only problem with buying something for 15-20 k here in Canada or the USA is if the engine ever decides to crap out or die like they are known for than you got a 2-4 k truck at most or spend 10-12 k getting a rebuilt but now your into 25 -30 k territory
I saw this while I was hunting for a disco. There's a few crazies that want 10 grand. Kijiji had one with a blown tranny guy wanted 5

prices are rising for good ones
the guy that has the blown tranny is not worth it. He bought some parts off me and I seen that rig couple years ago and there was rust

While I understand why to be weary of the painted frame/ underside of the truck, it could also be a sign of just the opposite of what most of you are afraid of. Particularly if it’s a rust protectant.
While it’s always better to buy a rust free free truck, that’s not always a reality and minor rust and road grime is pretty normal even in southern states.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, if you come across as a transparent seller, I don’t think the painted frame is a huge deal.
Low mileage, cosmetics like that, and tasteful mods point to the painted frame being a rust prevention measure, not a cover up...
