I was told that size would rub without a lift. With a lift you should have no problem.

Default Just got a set of Grabber AT2 for 900 bucks installed and everything

I have been looking for good tires for my 04 DII. This is my second one and before we had the Goodyear Eagle LS2 and they suck on snow. I want a tire that will be A/T but very good for snow. I need to keep my wife safe.

I will post pictures and a full review about how they sound and behave.

They do look mean...heheh

To select a different tire, REMOVE the tire from your cart and search for a tire with a load rating that matches your vehicle's O.E. rating. To purchase the tire you have already selected, KEEP IN CART / CONTINUE.

Are these tires really noisy and harsh?
Hi, I may be a little to late, but I just installed today a brand new set of General Grabbers AT2 on my 2004 DII 255/55/18. They are not noise at all compared to the Eagles LS2 that I had previously.

The tires look really mean and they feel really good. I will post more about them as soon as I have more time driving with them on. I look forward for the snow to feel how they handle.

Thanks

I have the Grabber AT2s on mine... I've been very happy with them and the price is right. They have no more road noise than the light duty tires that came on my Nissan Frontier and the Grabbers handle most offroad situations. Plus, they look aggressive.

FYI, my size is 245/70R16, no lift.

I have been running the Grabber AT2's for a year now. I was expecting noise, but in reality, they are quiet. The traction from these tires is great; if you get them you will love them.

Default General Grabber AT2's

Picked up the at2's about two weeks ago for my '04 II, after considerable research on the net. So far, loving the purchase. No noticeable increase in road noise, and the ride is actually smoother. Went up a size to the 255/60r18. Fills in nicely, no rub whatsoever lock to lock. Paid about $900 out the door.

Looking forward to some challenging conditions- I feel more confident traveling through puddles at higher speeds already.

ATs are pretty quiet on these trucks. At low speeds I can barely hear mine unless the windows are down. At high speeds though (70 on the interstate), however I can hear them.
