Wish l'd have seen this earlier...
Was replacing the lower plastic y-connection between water pump and thermostat and all hoses, on the recently rebuilt 04. Would have liked to use this method...on myself. Figures, bled right out after installing engine...but this time l got in a rush amd paid the price. Darn thing wouldn't bleed out for nothing. Usually, fill through the upper intake, upper radiator hose and upper thermostat hose, then fill reservior and run...with good results. Skipped half of my usual method...because hey...what could go wrong...lol. Anyhow, she's done and l'm off suicide watch...for now.
