Default How To : Steering Damper Install

This was about as hard as adding washer fluid.

No need to jack up the truck or remove the wheels. Just unbolt and remove the 2 nuts/bolts on each end of the damper, remove old damper, install new damper, replace nuts and bolts and you're done!

I installed a TerraFirma damper from Lucky8.

What a cheap-*** attempt at getting in the stickies!

And for part 2 of ylo's technical tech, "how to set your cruise control"...wait, that actually might be helpful to many.

LOL! I think this has "sticky" material written all over it! This was definitely NOT meant to be taken with 100% seriousness

I was thinking that a "How to : Engage the 4WD" will be my next "project", stay tuned

For me it was price : $57 for the TF, and $81 for the OME.

I had to do P90X, rent a pickle fork, and then buy a box of band-aids when I did the damper on my FJ40 so I fully expected another fight on the Disco. I laughed out loud as soon as I laid down underneath the truck and saw it was just 2 bolts Not sure how I managed to miss that in the months leading up to this swap.

I had to at least have an excuse to share the pic of how pretty the new one is

like is there a seat of the pants feel difference, or an added bonus that youd get in some situation off road compared to stock?
