Default On the hunt for ABS module for CDL. Am I looking for SRD 500070?

I have all the ingredients to add the CDL to the Disco except for the ABS control unit from a 2004. eBay is resulting in pretty much nothing lately. Am I looking for ONLY SRD 500070? None other from 2004 will do, correct?

srd 000070 was fitted to the early trucks (pre-2003). srd 000150 was fitted to 2003 and srd 500070 on the 2004 trucks. if you're retrofitting a cdl and want the full functionality, either of the later two model numbers will work. (the abs mapping is slightly different.)

So just to make sure I’m understanding. For my purposes, SRD 000150 and 500070 are both the same?

When you say the ABS mapping is slightly different, do you mean between 000070 and the two later units? Or it’s different between 000150 and 500070?

It's like this... SRD500070 > SRD000150 > SRD000070

From what I've read since I am looking for an SRD500070 SLABS unit, the SRD500070 is slightly more electronically modified than the SRD000150 unit. I don't think anyone knows the exact specifics are between the two units.
The SRD500070 was the only SLABS unit for a Disco 2 that was manufactured in Poland and is stamped on it's part number sticker. I've seen some SRD500070 units have a manufacture date from 2004 to 2011 which was way after LR stopped production of the Discovery 2.
The SRD500070 has been labeled as the Holy Grail since they are so hard to come by but they are out there. They can be expensive from $500- $900 on eBay.

the three models are all slightly different. srd000070 isn't "cdl-aware" so it gives an error under certain situations if you have the transfer case locked.
the abs mapping is supposedly different between srd000150 and srd500070. i assume that it is different on the first model too.

i believe that i have all three units, although i haven't used them all in a cdl-equipped truck yet. once i get the lockable t-case into my 2003 truck i might do a little bit of testing. (i'm assuming that the srd000150 is in that truck from the factory. i definitely used both of the other two in my '99 truck.)
i found the srd500070 on ebay for about $50 last year.

I believe that I have one. I can check for you tonight. $50 plus shipping would do it. I used it when diagnosing three amigos, which ended up being a wheel speed sensor. So, it may need codes cleared, but should be good to go. I don’t think I will ever have a use for it.

It depends on what SLABS unit you have. For an '03 you should have the SRD000150 unit so you should be good.

i think the error appears as the three amigos if you start the truck with the cdl locked. but with a 2003 truck you shouldn't have a problem.
