Default Hurricane Delta:

Well since living in SETX I've been thru Rita, Ike, Harvey, Imelda, Laura, and now Delta. It's heading for just east of Lake Charles, but I'm once again experiencing very strong wind gust, and the rain is currently much worse vs Laura.

I'm truly over 2020, Covid19, and hurricanes Prayers go out to everyone in Louisiana!

LA is of coarse getting the brunt of it, but it's hitting us here at the Sands Rover Ranch pretty good the rain is constant and the wind gust are very severe as the last major band is passing over us. I'd say another 1.5hr and we should be free of it.

It finally passed thru completely about 30min ago. The last 30min was for sure the worse wind gust! No damages to report besides my daughters swing set is toast lol.

Glad you and your family made it through safe. Surprising the track on these hurricanes this year.

Went out to inspect everything fully this morning and we actually have a lot more damage vs Laura. I'm not sure if Laura weakened the tree's first or old Delta hit us just right, but we did loose several tree's this time. Also I'm extremely lucky as the power went out once with a big surge, but after 2min it came back on. In other places they're facing no power yet again. When I woke up and went outside I heard generators purring away down the road from me.

I really feel for the people of LA. After Laura my company worked very very hard on restoring functions to over 41 financial institutions in the area from Vinton, LA to Lafayette, LA. I'm sure we're going to have to start all over again come next week.

Prayers for all those effected by these Hurricanes.
