Husband out of town and I need help
I have an 02 Disco. One of the plastic pieces that holds the passenger side fog light in broke a few days ago, and I just went to the store and the whole light (big box with the glass/plastic fell and broke, glass is missing). I'm not too concerned about the glass, but the box is still dangling. How do I unhook it, because I can't drive as it is? And will I get shocked unhooking it?
Also, where is a good place to order a new one?

You won't get a shock by unhooking it. Do you mean that there's no bolt holding it at all ??? If that's the case, unpluging it should remove it at once. To get a new one, you can check Atlanticbritish.com, or roversnorth.com or your local dealership.

just tape for now until your husband get home.
or go online like ebay and locate the fog light and removed the old one out and install the fog light in and zip tie the wire and you should be good or just go to the deal and get burn.A easy job like this to a dealer they will charge you @-lease 150.00 for the parts and 100.00 to install.
goodluck

If you can't get the wires unplugged easily, I recommend the handyman's secret weapon...duct tape. For aircraft use, we call it speed tape.
Remember guys- if the women don't find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy.

1.Call your Husband and ask him what to do?
2.go to any Local shop, walkin and ask if some one could pleasedetach or temporarily secure the light. offer $20.00 as a curtesy.
3.I have been married for 10 years and this is the advice i would like my Wife to recieve if she had the same issue.

take a pair of sissors and with the key off cut the wires right at the light, connectors further up, youll get a new one with the new light. just dont turn the fog lights on til its fixed and shouldnt be a problem. not really the right thing to do, but itll work for you for now.
