Have you disassembled the blower motor? Often they fill up with leaves, parts of the cabin air filter, and other debris - this blocks a lot of the air. Easy to pull out and inspect:
This has instructions for removal (unless yours is making squeaking noises, you probably don't need to clean and rebuild the motor - just dump out the stuff that collects in hte cage and reach up into the ducting and pull out any other debris that's floating around.

I actually replaced the blower a while back so I know that's not the issue.
I was thinking foam had disintegrated as well and there has always been bits and pieces coming out here and there. It has spent it's whole life in the south as far as I know so always been in a warm climate.
Now the question is how do I go about fixing it? Has anyone ever tackeled this before?
