I can't find it!!

I may just be a dolt,

but, what years are affected by the universal-joint-breaking-driveshaft-snapping-transmission-case-cracking joy I've been reading so much about on here?

I've spent some time trawling through a bunch of threads, but, I can't find it!!

As far as I know it is a DII problem, so 1999+ Discovery 2.

the answer to that would be discovery 2's with non-greasable u-joints... if the front propshaft hasnt been rebuilt/replaced, it should be before it fails

if you have a D2 and don't have the drive shaft rebuilt with greasable U joints. the drive shaft will remove it self from the under side of your truck and rape and pillage your town. It's one nasty sucka.

fixed it for you
