Default I finished with replacing my head gaskets today

I finished with replacing my head gaskets today. Theres 40 hours of my life I will never get back. Holly molly know one told me. That has to be the hardest thing I have ever done on a car before, and I did a timing chain on my 01 740i. The good news is it is all done and i put a 100 miles on it already and it is running great. I bought this car on 3/17 with a blown head gasket so I really didn't get to drive before the repair. It's a nice driver. I can't wait to get it off road and see what it can do. I still like my 03 BMW X5 better on the freeway. Thanks for the support from everyone who helped me with questions.

Timing chains on 01 740?

Ya....Rover HG is easier than that, lol. Not by much.....but IMO they are.

Sounds like you jumped in as I did....only I didn't own mine when I helped put HGs on it....but was still involved.

Do not forget to fix the reason/cause why the head gasket blew !, or all that work would become just a training exercise...
Hint: radiator.
