Hey folks! I went to the junkyard today and found a headunit! it works awesome! Now I want to know if you can open up and recone and surround the harman kardon midranges! I also want to know if the subwoofer amp has a fuse? I found some oem subs and amp in good condition at the yard and I am thinking of getting them! Any input folks?

 

I re-coned my rear door subs a while back. The kits I got from ebay were cheap but I cant remember how much they were. One of the subs came out good and the other I didnt center right, it makes a nasty scraping noise when it hits. I'm just going to get some cheap pioneers or anything that doesnt require big power to move to save time. Good luck if you do decide to re-cone them, I'll cross my fingers for you
