Default I have seen the devil's face.........

...and it looks just like this!

I think these little plastic pieces should be named "devil horns" or something. I can't seem to remove any panel on my D1 without at least 2 or 3 of them breaking, no matter how careful you are!

Are you using one of these?

If not, you might need more of these: http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/DKP5279L.cfm

You can buy an entire set of trim removal tools from harbor freight for cheap.

another hint leave whatever surface your working on in the sun for about 30 mins. this will heat up the retaining sockets and should allow trouble free removal.
I broke about 8 of the pins on the rear cargo door on my 04 and it was brand new.

I got new pins fitted and then had to do another panel removal,
this time I left the door open in the sun , all the pins came out perfectly

I spent a fortune replacing the 10 I broke. For those of you who have not done this yet, it is about the same cost as doing a full engine swap.

Just did a bunch of Dynamat so I had a fair number of broken fasteners laying around the garage when I was done - both passenger doors and the cargo door. Really didn't want to pay $1-2 each so I did a little shopping around... These guys have the best price I found at the time. Shipping takes a little while from the other side of the pond, but they certainly delivered... Send them an e-mail and tell them what you need, they will hook you up.
